  • Avoid any vigorous physical activity for 24 hours.

Symptom Control

  • You may feel more comfortable lying with your head partially raised.
  • Avoid strain on your neck by placing both hands behind your next to support your head.
  • You may develop a sore throat.

Biopsy Site Care

  • If you have a small amount of bleeding at the site, lie down and apply gentle direct pressure to the bleeding for 10 minutes, then apply a new bandage.
