Michael Schramm

President, Carris Health – Willmar

Schramm has served in his current role since Carris Health was formed in January of 2018. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Rice Memorial Hospital since 2009. Schramm is originally from South Central South Dakota and got his start in healthcare more than 25 years ago in the northern Black Hills in Western South Dakota. He has been in Minnesota for more than 20 years and has led three different healthcare organizations in three communities during his time in the state.

Schramm earned his bachelor’s degree in health services administration from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion and his master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota.
