Help Me Connect Minnesota helps pregnant and parenting families with young children birth to 8 years
of age connect to services in their local communities that support healthy
child development and family well-being.
Help Me GrowMinnesota connects families to resources that help young children ages birth to
five years develop, learn and grow. Find ideas on how to support a child’s
development, healthy learning, and growth. Families can seek additional
support through their local school district and receive a comprehensive,
confidential screening or evaluation at no cost. Additional services and
support may be provided through Home Visiting and Early Intervention.
Think Small Parent Powered Texts. Receive fun facts, and easy tips each week with ideas on how you can promote
your child’s learning. Research shows when parents participate in
this program their children are more prepared for kindergarten. There
is no cost for Think Small ParentPowered Texts. Carrier data and message
rates may apply.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is where parents and their young children (ages birth to kindergarten)
come to explore, play and learn together. For registration and fee information,
call your local school district program. If you are on a tight budget
and unable to pay, you are still welcome to join!
Family Home Visiting Program is a voluntary, home-based service ideally delivered prenatally through
the early years of a child’s life. It provides social, emotional,
health-related and parenting support and information to families, and
links them to appropriate resources.

problems, divorce or separation, financial strains or other issues can
