CentraCare Foundation Receives a Generous $250,000 Matching Gift for Year-End Campaign

Published in Media Releases

CentraCare Foundation is excited to announce that we have received a remarkable $250,000 matching gift for our year-end Community Campaign from an anonymous donor. This year’s campaign focuses on mental health care for children.

CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health at Clara’s House is a partial hospitalization program for children and adolescents ages 5-18 who may have emotional, behavioral or psychiatric difficulties. The program provides intensive, collaborative, therapeutic services with a goal of stabilization and improving emotional well-being.

Community Campaign gifts will help the program expand to address the mental health needs of children ages 2-5, as there is an opportunity and a need to intervene even at a younger age. Along with this new program, an indoor and outdoor play area will be built for this early childhood population.

Thanks to the generous matching gift, a donation received by the CentraCare Foundation before Dec. 31 will have twice the impact, directly improving the lives of children who are grappling with mental health challenges.
